Can someone else drive the rental car?

Yes, it can be done free of charge, as long as its details are declared and written on the rental contract (provided it meets the legal requirements).

 

What age do I have to be to rent a car:

You must be at least 23 years old and have held your driving license for at least one year. If you want rent our car with 7 seats, then you must be 25 years old.

Car rental IS NOT ALLOWED for people over 70 years of age.

 

PRICE

What is included in the price?

The price (without extras) includes Basic insurance (read the general terms).

If you want mixed insurance you have to pay +10€ / per day (read the general terms)

If you want Super Cover insurance have to pay +16 /per day (read the general terms)

Does Super Cover not cover?

Read the general terms

Unlimited kilometers: only for the island of Astypalaia

For the rents in Athens, after the 100 km /day , you pay 0.17€ or 0.23€ /km, depending on the type of car ( please read the general terms)

 

RESERVATION

Can I choose a specific car make and model?

No, you cam but the company reserves the right, depending on availability, to provide a different type of car from that of the original reservation with one of a similar or higher category (at the same price).

If there is a car of a smaller category available and the customer wishes to rent it, then the price is adjusted accordingly.

 

Will I receive any confirmation of my reservation?

After the successful completion of your reservation and after you have paid the deposit, you will be sent a confirmation of your reservation, to the electronic address (email) you indicated.

 

What happens if I cancel my reservation? Is there a charge?

1. In case of cancellation of the reservation through our website, 21 days before the date of collection of the car, our company returns the amount of th deposit on full

2. For cancellations made later (within 21days and before 7 days from the date of receipt of the car) the deposit is NOT refunded.

3. For cancellations within lasta week (7 days) before the car is picked up, or, if the driver does not show up, the amount does has been prepaid is NOT returned.

4. If you want change your reservation, then, the amount is adjusted accordingly.

 

Can I make a reservation with a card that is not in my name?

No. The card holder with which the reservation was made must be present to pick up the car, as the card holder will sign the rental contract as the driver.

RECEIPT OF CAR

What should I have with me when picking up the car?

You must have your driver's license with you at the start of the rental. You must have it issued at least one year before the rental date. You must also have your ID or passport with you. All of the above must display the driver's name.

About driving license: You must hold a driving license issued by a European Union country or hold an International Driving Permit. The International Driving Permit must be accompanied by the driving license of the country of the driver of the car.

A credit or debit card is always required for any car rental as a guarantee, even if you choose to pay for the rental in cash.

 

The cards accepted are the following:

Visa (credit and debit cards)

MasterCard (credit and debit cards)

All the payments (either tha advance 30%, either the total amount) are paid by credit card, or with bank transfer, We can accept you to pay in cash the remaining amount ,  at the car drop off location. 

 

Can I rent a car by the month?

Of course you can!

Can I return the car to a different point than the one originally agreed?

Changing the point of return of the car may also mean a higher fee. Please contact our company for information.

 

What if I return the car later?

We would ask that this not happen. However, in case of a delay of more than 30', there will be a charge of one extra day.

In case to want to keep the car for more days, please conduct us (at least 2 days in advance to check the availability of the car

 

What happens if I return the car earlier?

If the car is returned earlier than the date shown on the reservation, there will be no refund.

 

What should I do if there is a technical problem with the car?

In the unfortunate event of mechanical failure, you should contact our company and we will take care of solving your problem immediately.

 

What should I do if I have an accident?

You should immediately call the police and then contact our company

 

FUEL

Do I receive the car with a full tank?

  The car should be returned with fuel to the mark where it was, befor collection

If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel, the renter will be charged the cost of refueling, as well as the "Fuel Charge Service" (+€15)
